Thursday 19th March at 7.30pm: The Marlborough History Society - lecture by Major-General Peter Williams on "The End of the War in Germany 1945" 
Tuesday 24th March at 6pm: The Annual General Meeting of the St Peter's Church Trust - members only 
Sunday 5th April at 7.30pm: Brilliant Young International Musicians concert - Judith Choi Castro (violin) and John Paul Ekins (piano) return to delight us yet again with another of their world-class performances 
Thursday 23rd April at 7.30pm: The Marlborough History Society - Lecture by Robin Buchanan-Dunlop on "Ham from King Athelstan to the Black Death" 
Sunday 3rd May at 7.30pm: Brilliant Young International Musicians concert - Louise Cournarie (piano coach at the Royal Academy of Music) performs a programme of largely Baroque music 
TJohanna Rohrig (violin) and Cameron Richardson-Eames (piano) will be playing music by Ysaye, Dvorak, Ravel and others this coming Sunday 1st March at St Peter's Church at 7.30pm. Tickets (£10/£8) from The White Horse Bookshop or Sound Knowledge or on the door on the night.

Wednesday 18th December:  
LAST DAY of trading for the charity Christmas card sales by Cards For Good Causes. 
Monday 23rd December to Thursday 2nd January:  
Traditional CLOSURE of the church and its shops for the Christmas and New Year period. 
Friday 3rd January - Friday 17th January:  
ADDITIONAL CLOSURE of the church and its shops to enable important redecoration to take place - the church and its shop will reopen fully for business on SATURDAY 18TH JANUARY. 
Thursday 16th January at 7.30pm:  
Marlborough History Society meets as usual to hear Rupert Wielock talk about "Churchill's Forgotten Prisoners". 
Sunday 26th January at 7.30pm:  
Brilliant Young International Musicians Recital - Timon Staehler and friends perform works by Bach, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms and Mendelssohn. More details soon. 
Thursday 20th February at 7.30pm:  
Marlborough History Society meets to hear James Holden talk about "Wiltshire Gate Lodges". 
Friday 21st February at 8pm:  
The ANNUAL ST PETER'S QUIZ - lots of brain-teasing fun - start organising your teams now (tables of 6-10 persons) - booking details to follow.

St. Peter's Trust present the latest concert in the 8th series of Brilliant Young Musicians 
Royal College of Music scholars Polly Bartlett (oboe), Jonathan Musgrave (Piano) and Findlay Spence (cello)  
They will be playing, amongst other pieces, fascinating arrangements of the music of :- 
Robert Schumann - Six Canonic Sonatas 
François Devienne - Sonata in C Major Op. 71 
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Oboe Quartet 
Antal Dorati - Duo Concertante 
Francis Poulenc - Trio for Oboe, Bassoon and Piano (arranged for oboe, cello and piano) 
All three musicians are recent graduates of the Royal College of Music and are making great names for themselves as first class soloists and chamber musicians both here in UK and internationally.
